Stargazers will be able to see Mars, Jupiter (and its four large moons), Uranus, and several double stars and nebulae. The Department of Physics and Astronomy will also be providing activities and demonstrations for all ages in several rooms on the first floor of the Rita Liddy Hollings Science Center (corner of George and Coming Streets). Enter via the Coming Street entrance and check in with the Society of Physics Students host, who will direct you to the location of the indoor and outdoor activities.
If you plan to bring a large group (10 or more), or if you will need special accommodations, please contact Chris True prior to the event at email@example.com or 843.953.2031.
