Princeton Review Names College of Charleston a “Top National College”

Posted on 21 August 2012 | 11:08 am

The College of Charleston is one of the country’s best institutions for undergraduate education, according to the new edition of Princeton Review. The College is featured in the 2013 edition of the annual college guide, “The Best 373 Colleges”.

Only about 15% of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges are profiled in the book, which is the Princeton Review’s flagship college guide. It includes detailed profiles of the colleges with rating scores for all schools in eight categories, plus ranking lists of top 20 schools in 62 categories based on Princeton Review’s surveys of students attending the colleges.

The Review says the College and the City of Charleston provide “a truly unique Southern experience with strong liberal arts and sciences academics. Students absolutely rave about the weather, the beaches, the city, and the social life the campus and the city combine to provide.”

The College of Charleston also ranked number 12 on the Reviews’ list of “Best College Towns.”

This is the ninth year in a row that the College of Charleston has been honored by the Princeton Review.
