Admissions Tour Offered in Spanish

The College of Charleston is offering a Spanish-speaking admissions campus tour and information session on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. The traditional English-speaking tour and information session will be held simultaneously. Students can register for either tours on the admissions website (no distinction necessary when registering).

College Senior a Ryan Seacrest Doppleganger

College of Charleston senior Shaun Kraisman is looking forward to more than just graduation – he can’t wait for the “American Idol” season 11 finale. Kraisman, a communication major, is a doppleganger for the Fox show’s host Ryan Seacrest and earned national airtime during the season premiere. Now he’s hoping for an encore during the show’s finale. Watch a video.

Coach Bobby Cremins To Take Medical Leave of Absence

Dozens of Students Publish in International Journal

Student consultants in the College of Charleston’s Writing Lab have published 17 articles in international publications, including one in the January/February 2012 issue of The Writing Lab Newsletter. The Writing Lab is staffed by a faculty member and student consultants who provide one-to-one assistance for every stage in the writing process for term papers, essays, letters, memos, or book reviews.

College of Charleston Men’s Basketball Head Coach Bobby Cremins and Brett Gardner ’05, starting left fielder for the New York Yankees, are among four sports figures participating in the Charleston Home + Design Show  “Celebrity Designer Idea Rooms” from Friday January 27, 2012 through Sunday January 29, 2012.  The show will be held at Gaillard Auditorium (77 Calhoun Street).
