If you’re part of the Class of 2014, you’re in rare company. Among your peers are a fashion model who has worked throughout Europe, a fashion designer who spent over 800 hours creating 35 outfits for a show, a climbing enthusiast who has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, an actor who worked on the set of “One Tree Hill,” a pop star’s nanny and a student who begins her college career with 39 hours of AP credit.

You and your 2,030-plus classmates possess an extremely broad range of interests and talents. One of you enjoys offshore spearfishing while another has been trained to tag sharks. One is a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps, while another has received U.S. Army distinction as an Iron Man, a sharpshooter and an EMS technician. One teaches sailing to inner city children while another spent two summers teaching in Tanzania. And collectively, you form one of the most geographically diverse classes in the College’s history. You have peers from as close as a few blocks away and as far as Australia. There are those who graduated from high schools in California, Texas, Minnesota and Vermont, as well Bermuda, England, Mexico, Denmark, Singapore and the Netherlands.

And many in your class are well connected with the College. One hundred and twenty-seven have siblings that attended or still attend the College. Ninety-four have parents who are alums, and three have grandparents among the alumni.
