BiblioLabs Establishes Computer Science Scholarships

The College of Charleston has announced today that BiblioLabs LLC will support four four-year tuition scholarships to academically competitive South Carolina students pursing a degree in computer science. BiblioLabs owner and CEO Bob Holt says he hopes the scholarships will attract new computer science majors who demonstrate independent, creative and clever thinking.

The College of Charleston Friends of the Library is presenting a lecture by Richard Norton Smith on the relationship between Presidents Herbert Hoover and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Smith will look at the pair, who were once neighbors and friends, but became political adversaries during a time in the U.S. similar to present day.
