Author and Vietnam veteran Tim O’Brien will be the featured speaker during the College of Charleston’s The College Reads! program on October 2, 2009.  The speech will be held in the Carolina First Arena starting at 5 p.m. The program is free and open to the public.

John Palmer Named Life Member of Communication Advisory Council

John Palmer, an award-winning journalist and news anchor, has been named a life member of the Department of Communication Advisory Council at the College of Charleston. Palmer received this honor on the recommendation of the members of the Council. He is only the second person to be named a life member.
