Historian Kicks Off Lecture Series

Professor James Walvin, Professor of History Emeritus at the University of York in England, will deliver this term’s Wachovia Distinguished Public Lecture at the College of Charleston on Thursday, October 8th at 7 pm.  The lecture will take place in Arnold Hall at the Jewish Studies Center, 96 Wentworth Street on the College of Charleston campus. » Read Full Article

John Palmer, an award-winning journalist and news anchor, has been named a life member of the Department of Communication Advisory Council at the College of Charleston. Palmer received this honor on the recommendation of the members of the Council. He is only the second person to be named a life member. » Read Full Article

New Study Abroad Programs for 2010 at Fair

The College of Charleston is offering a record number of study abroad trips for summer 2010. A study abroad fair will be held on Monday, September 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Physician’s Promenade (near the corner of Glebe and George Streets).
